I am glad you stopped by. Thank you for your interest in my work.

I have sold over sixty short stories and articles to professional and semi-professional magazines. My first science fiction novel, FEVREBLAU, was published by Five Star Press in 2005.  FEVREBLAU can be found in used bookstores, online dealers and libraries.

I am currently working on and writing dark fantasy more than any other genre. My novel Haxan will be available from CZP in 2014.

Writing Rules

1. TELL A GOOD STORY. This should be self-explanatory. Sadly, for many new writers, and a few professionals who should know better, this is a perpetual stumbling block.

2. TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. Put more simply, write what you feel and don’t be afraid to take chances. A dangerous story has more going for it than a "safe" one.

3. PERSEVERE. You must have the courage to fail. Remember, the unsold story is the unread story. Sometimes it’s like banging your head against a brick wall. But writers who get published do so because they never quit trying.
